OnTheMonee is available on both iOS and Android through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. To access the app your employer needs to be a participating partner — once they are, you can download the app and sign up in seconds.

Share the website link with your employer or complete the employer details form in the app, and our team will reach out to them directly.

OnTheMonee only works with employees that work within participating partner organisations. If your employer hasn't signed up yet, let them know about OTM and we'll take it from there.

Add the card to your digital wallet by following the prompts during app signup, or select the card icon on the home screen at any time to add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Your employer can choose to pay tips to staff daily, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. Check with your venue manager for the schedule that applies to you.

Tips remain taxable per the ATO regardless of how they are paid. Digital tips work the same as cash tips from a tax perspective — the only difference is you now have a clear record of what you received.

Yes — with our MOOVE feature you can transfer funds to an approved bank account at any time.

Spend anywhere Mastercard is accepted — online and in store. Your OTM card works with Apple Pay and Google Pay, so your card is always in your pocket.

Select the card icon in the app to view your card details, then copy and paste the card number, expiry, and CVC into any online checkout that accepts Mastercard.

The Activity section of the OnTheMonee App shows your previous card spend, tip receipts, and transfer history.

Make eligible purchases at participating locations using your OTM card. Discounts are automatically applied and typically credited to your account within 3 days.

Moove lets you transfer your OTM balance to an approved bank account. We also offer discounts from a range of our partners to help stretch your tips further, with over 4,500 merchant locations participating.

Discounts are typically applied to your account within 3 business days of the qualifying purchase.

Report the card as Lost or Stolen immediately via the app's Card Settings, or contact the team directly. We'll freeze the card and issue a replacement.

Your initial details come from your employer's records. After signup, you can update your phone number and email address in your profile's Personal Details section.

You can request account deletion within the app and our team will assist with the removal process.

Your manager removes you from the OnTheMonee portal for that venue. The app updates automatically, but any funds in your account remain accessible — they're yours to spend or transfer. If your new employer also uses OnTheMonee to pay tips, you won’t have to create a new account.

You can use Apple Pay in supermarkets, boutique shops, restaurants, vending machines, on public transport, in selected apps, and on participating websites using Safari.
